The PresenterSal Fragapane is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) and a Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) who serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Operating Officer of AML RightSource LLC.
Sal maintains his Ohio life, health, and annuities license as well his Ohio personal lines property and casualty license. He received his MBA from Baldwin Wallace University and his BSBA from Bowling Green State University. Sal is also a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy.
Sal has spent 23 years in financial services between Key Bank, Third Federal Savings and Loan, and with AML RightSource. His experience in the roles as an internal auditor, retail banker, loan officer, BSA officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer has provided him with the experience and well-rounded insight needed to effectively serve his clients.
Sal has successfully managed and always improved compliance programs and exams for institutions regulated by the OCC, FDIC, FRB, OTS, NCUA, SEC, and FINRA. He spends his time working with banks, MSBs, private equity funds, and nonbank mortgage lenders as both a consultant and as their Virtual Compliance Officer.
