Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL)

Are you seeking to earn the CASL designation? Then you've come to the right place!

Bank Training Center offers training courses to help candidates pass their Chartered Advisor for Senior Living certification exams and earn the prestigious CASL designation.

The Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) designation is the undisputed professional credential for individuals who typically work with seniors as a normal course of their business practices.

The CASL designation imparts the training, understanding, and knowledge that enables certificants to address the main concerns of this senior demographic – areas such as the financial, health, psychological and sociological issues that seniors face.

Curriculum

Candidates must pass an examination for the following five required courses to earn the designation:

Required Courses
  • 328: Investments
  • 330: Fundamentals of Estate Planning
  • 350: Understanding the Older Client
  • 351: Health and Long-Term Care Financing
  • 352: Financial Decisions for Retirement
Each course will take candidates about 50-70 hours to complete. The program is self-paced; candidates may finish these five courses as quickly as they are able. Generally, candidates complete their designation requirements between 15-24 months.

Tuition

The tuition for each course above is $599, plus $25 for shipping and handling of course materials. The exam fee is included in this tuition. For new students to The American College, there also is a one-time, non-refundable New Student Fee of $135.00.

Examination Requirements

Each of the five exams is a two-hour, 100 question, computer-administered test. National exams are given throughout the year at local testing centers; results are provided immediately upon the completion of your exam. Contact PearsonVue Education at 866-392-6822 for more information or to schedule your exam.
