Bank Training Center offers training courses to help candidates pass their Chartered Advisor for Senior Living certification exams and earn the prestigious CASL designation.
The Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) designation is the undisputed professional credential for individuals who typically work with seniors as a normal course of their business practices.
The CASL designation imparts the training, understanding, and knowledge that enables certificants to address the main concerns of this senior demographic – areas such as the financial, health, psychological and sociological issues that seniors face.
Curriculum
Candidates must pass an examination for the following five required courses to earn the designation:

328: Investments
330: Fundamentals of Estate Planning
350: Understanding the Older Client
351: Health and Long-Term Care Financing
352: Financial Decisions for Retirement
Each course will take candidates about 50-70 hours to complete. The program is self-paced; candidates may finish these five courses as quickly as they are able. Generally, candidates complete their designation requirements between 15-24 months.
Tuition
For each module above, the tuition is $550, (plus $15 for shipping and handling of course materials). There is no additional exam fee; it is included in the tuition for each course. New students to the College also are required to remit a one-time, non-refundable New Student Fee of $125.00.
Examination Requirements
Each of the five exams is a two-hour, 100 question, computer-administered test. National exams are given throughout the year at local testing centers; results are provided immediately upon the completion of your exam. Additional Requirements
Candidates must meet experience requirements and ethical standards, including three years of business experience immediately preceding the date of use of the designation are required; an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited educational institution qualifies as one year of business experience and, when using formal education as qualifying experience, the remaining two years must immediately precede the date of the award.
Continuing Education Requirements
Designees are required to complete 15 hours of continuing education each two years, while at least 10 of these hours should be in course work directly related to this designation.
