About The Presenter:
Kara Crowell
Kara Crowell has been practicing Human Resources for over 20 years. She is currently a Principal at Vital HR Consulting in Calabasas, CA. Prior to consulting, Kara had an extensive career in corporate Human Resources within various industries including healthcare, entertainment, and financial services. Her experience in Human Resources includes recruiting, employee relations, workplace investigations, compliance, benefits, compensation, safety, policy development, and performance planning. Kara has her Master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis on Executive Management from University of LaVerne and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. She maintains her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM- CP certification.
In addition to her consulting, Kara teaches HR classes at Loyola Marymount University and previously with Los Angeles Valley College.
