About This Course:
This online NMLS course gives you a seven-day period to complete the required coursework. Essentially, you complete your course over a seven-day window with an instructor who will monitor and communicate with you during the course.

Because the course is online, you can complete your required training on your own time. You can start, stop, and pause your course at any time and pick back up where you left off, and for tough areas or questions you have access to an instructor who is available via email (typically between 9a and 9p Eastern).

This online course satisfies the required 20 hours of national pre-licensing NMLS education to earn your mortgage license, and contains:
  • Three (3) hours of federal law and regulations
  • Three (3) hours of ethics, which includes instruction on fraud consumer protection and fair lending issues
  • Two (2) hours of training related to lending standards for the nontraditional mortgage product marketplace
Because this is an online course, you can take it from anywhere where you have an Internet connection.
