Robbery Procedures, Counterfeit and Fraudulent Items
It's getting to be that time of year again!! Robberies occur more in December than any other month according to FBI statistics. How can you keep your employees safe at your financial institution during a robbery? First we need to try to prevent the robbery from happening in the first place. We'll review the ABC's of security devices, go over methods of how to prevent robberies, and what to do before, during and after a robbery. We'll also discuss how to detect counterfeit money and what are the security features of the "old" and "new" bills in circulation.

Who Should Attend
All staff, including those in the back office. All should receive training on robbery and security procedures, especially those who enter or leave the building before or after regular lobby hours, work in the lobby, visit the lobby occasionally, or possess combinations or keys that access cash or handle cash.
Christy Crawford is the Vice President of Gettechnical, Inc. located in Baton Rouge, LA for the last 10 years. Formerly a trainer for Wal-Mart Corporation, Christy brings her previous 10 years of sales and training expertise to your financial institution. She has a Bachelors Degree in Speech Communication from Louisiana State University.
She is BSA/AML certified and her expertise is in the deposit side of the financial institution. She specializes in teller, new accounts, IRA, robbery and security, and BSA training. She brings humor, youth, and vitality to the programs she teaches.
